Owned and directed by 2 brothers, our client has the reputation for one of the largest, cleanest and most traditional butches in its industry. You will be entering a period of exciting growth as the company is excelling post covid. Our client prioritises organic growth and offer opportunities for internal career progression. Description Responsibilities Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving, check vendor information, quantities, payment terms and costs and then enter in accounts payable systemCheck accounts payable edits after data entry for errorsCreate weekly / monthly payment runs.Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.Balance vendor statements to accounts payable ledger and rectify all discrepanciesReview all vendor account credit balances and return to company. Maintain proficiency in computerised systems and other technologies as required.Manage Petty CashBank ReconciliationAssist with Accounts Receivable responsibilities Assist with procurement Other duties as assignedProfile The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience working in a similar accounts officer position and will be passionate about entering a family run business. Additionally, they will be system and process driven, tech savvy, and will have a strong attention to detail whilst meeting deadlines. Most importantly, they will have strong communication and customer service skills, alongside a friendly and motivated personality.
